RDH Bestie is Live!

If you’re reading this, I just want to say… welcome.

Truly.

Whether you’re a brand new hygienist about to step into your first job, or you’ve been practicing for years and quietly wondering “is it always going to feel like this?” — I’m really glad you’re here.

Because this space was created with you in mind.

So… what is RDH Bestie?

RDH Bestie is a space for dental hygienists who want more from their careers.

More clarity.

More confidence.

More fulfillment.

More alignment with the kind of provider they know they’re capable of being.

It’s also a space for the conversations that don’t always get talked about enough in our profession.

The real ones.

The ones about:

  • feeling rushed and overwhelmed

  • navigating disagreements in the operatory

  • trying to do the right thing for your patient while balancing time, pressure, and expectations

  • wanting to love your job… but not always feeling like you do

If you’ve ever felt that tension — you’re not alone.

And you’re not wrong for feeling it.

Why I created RDH Bestie

At one point in my own career, I hit a moment where I genuinely questioned if I could do this long-term.

Not because I didn’t care about my patients.

But because I cared so much — and didn’t feel like I had the support, structure, or guidance to practice in a way that felt sustainable.

I felt overwhelmed.

Disconnected.

And honestly… a little discouraged.

But instead of walking away, I got curious.

I started asking:

  • What would it look like to actually feel good at work?

  • What kind of hygienist do I want to be?

  • How do I protect that — even in less-than-perfect environments?

And over time, I built a way of practicing that felt better.

More intentional.

More grounded.

More aligned.

RDH Bestie is a place where I share that with you.

What you’ll find here

This space is a mix of:

  • real talk about the dental hygiene experience

  • practical guidance you can actually use in your day-to-day

  • mindset shifts that support longevity in this profession

  • and reminders of the impact and importance of what we do

Not fluff.

Not perfection.

Just honest, supportive, solution-oriented content.

The kind of things I wish I had earlier in my career.

A little reminder before you go

You’re not “just” a hygienist.

You are a preventive oral health specialist.

You are a patient advocate.

You are a critical part of the healthcare system.

And you deserve to feel good in your role — not just get through it.

I’m really glad you’re here <3

This is just the beginning.
